Dark graphics

Sergey Borichevsky

I've been drawing since I was 13, self-taught, starting with pencil portraits and endless sketches in notebooks. It's always been my hobby and a way to switch off my mind. In 2018, I realized that creativity could become my life's work, and that's how I came to tattooing.

I currently work in two directions: dark, somber graphics and Japanese motifs. My main principle is strong contrast: dense black fills juxtaposed with textured hatching.

I often freehand sketch the design directly onto the skin with a marker. This way, I can take into account every curve, shoulder twist, or rib angle and create a composition that perfectly suits that person. For me, a tattoo isn't just a simple image transfer, but a lively dialogue with the client, where every nuance is important.

Outside of work, I relax at the computer. Dota is my lifelong love, and between skating rinks, my cat, Loki, welcomes me home. A perpetually yelling, furry hooligan who's always ready to discuss anything and remind you that life isn't just about tattoos and timing.
